How to Grow Azolla

silpaulin sheet 2.5x1.8mt 150gsm

THINGS NEEDED:

Rock Phophate 500 gm












azolla seedlings

















Cow dung 













water
30
clay bricks
 
red mud or any humus soil



























Alright. Get all these things ready and arrange the bedding first with a clean surface either in mud or floor or your roof top. Then arrange the bricks in rectangle fashion and lay the silpaulin sheet. Pour water with depth 10 cm. Mix some red soil/humus soil and 2 day old cow dung for fertilising the water. You can also add a 50 gram of  rock phosphate. Add two hand full of Azolla seedlings. Keep some bricks on the silpaulin sheet to prevent movement due to wind as shown. Direct sun light is not good for your Azolla.
